| "They've been selling digital ring-watches at drleaonards.com for at least a decade. The watchband's links do pinch, as mentioned above, and the plating wears off quickly though. But for $3....
Heinlein was probably enamored with the idea of smaller watches: he wore ladies wristwatches.
