| "No kidding. Gait analysis is now being perfected in real-time computer monitoring systems. A University of Maryland researcher, Rama Chellappa, has a team of people working on a "compact, digital signature for characterizing human gait and corresponding activities, such as humans carrying objects like backpacks, handbags, or briefcases, using video data from digital surveillance cameras and corresponding algorithms."
