"trully man always want to soar high, even for sometimes it was impossible. but because of the power of dreams and through innovations those dreams become reality. man always challenge the boundery of limitations. man always seek for new horizon that was far more beyond on what we expected. and now with this new aged skycraper, it will surely testify not only power for some but the capacity of man to do impossible things with the power of dreams. goodluck to the majestic burj of dubai. and hope to see it after 3 years strongly and majestically stood in the ends of the earth."
(Marbyn Mendoza 10/26/2005 10:38:49 PM)
"Correction: TFC101 is the tallest habitable building, not the world's tallest building. That title still belongs to the CN Tower in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at 553 metres. The CN Tower, though, does not have office/living floors (its only occupied space is tourist attractions, technical facilities, and restaurants), and so is not considered 'habitable'."

(shammi 9/1/2006 2:06:47 AM)
"What is the point of building a building this tall. I can understand what they are trying to do in New York, i think that is an act of courage, but this is an act of trying to build a very tall building. Yes, i beleive that safety measures can be taken to prevent an attack on the building but from the size of the top of it, there will be absolutely no plane hitting it and it staying up and then collapsing. It will be the plane hits it and in a matter of minutes the structure will no longer be the tallest building, it will be the biggest pile of rubble. It looks to me as if it is no larger that a boeing 747 around 200 feet from the top of the building, so if the plane is larger it will slice through the building like a bat exploding on impact and basically falling straight to the ground. "
