Comments on Russian Moon Base Mining Camp
The Russians steal a page from Ray Cummings' Brigands of the Moon and look for rare materials on the moon. (Read the complete story)

"Im 40 now, boy, I hope re-incarnation really happens, cause I was born too early for this to happen so late in life... We humans are so smart, too bad we are mortal. I'd be right there mining."
( dreamer 2/1/2006 10:09:01 AM)
"Oh man,I hope this Russian plan works,we will start settling on our other naeighboring planets by 2020s.Woohoo!!! Go Russia!!!"
(Oleg 3/21/2006 2:33:33 PM)
"Sorry guys but no way is this going to happen by 2020's. Cold fusion is still a pipe dream and i don't see the russians building lunar landers, bases and miners by 2020...maybe late this century"
(subzero 3/24/2006 4:45:09 AM)
"This would take a real technological leap forward, especially by the Russians, to be economically viable. I sure would like to see a realistic cost-benefit analysis. Who'd be able to do a credible job of it might be problematic, though. In the long run maybe a Clarke "space elevator" might possibly be more practical in a Lunar application than it would here. Few or no lunar satellites to run into the thing, unlike here. ???"
