| "I believe Chairdogs do show up in the latter Dune novels by Herbert, but I need to check. But I doubt there is any direct connection to the Whipping Star universe. Some science fiction authors reuse some of their inventions in other stories. If I recall, there was a Ccat-variant of the chairdog in Whipping Star.
