"I think that would be a bit too freaky! TV already gives the illusion that the newscasters are watching you back while you're watching them (this was one of the gags in Chicken Fried Movie - never have sex on the couch with the TV on!). If they called me by name, I'd have to check myself into the nearest funny farm!

"As a teacher, I was looking for a way to explain this type of interactive television to my students. One of the students pointed out that it was similar to a Dora the Explore episode! I thought that was fantastic! And, if you could believe it, my son receive a Dora video for his birthday, and he was "featured" in the video. A picture of his face was placed on a boy character. Dora referred to him by his name throughout the whole thing! This is similar to what Mildred does when she orders her scripts.
