Comments on Super-Suit Fabric Now Available In T-Shirt
Super-fabrics are good; when they come in t-shirt form, even better. (Read
the complete story)
"I think a long sleeved shirt would be better so people can protect their faces without their arms getting slashed. Still, very cool.
I'm a huge fan of this site, by the way!"

"Just like with ballistic vests, this does you no good if your assailant is aiming for your face..."

"I would go with a few inter-woven layers nanofiber armor cloth and hard nanofiber trauma plates with joint bracing / joint pads. You could add a very fine, yet protective, "turtle neck" and "work gloves" too.
Still would make for a nice bit of smart-clothing, with a much better protection rating that would also help against fire, knives, and street level small arms. with nano scale electronics, You could add a bio monitor, gps traker, and cell phone to the plated areas. with a supperior version of this 'uniform' you could snicker about hold ups that use 9mm rounds, and laugh at .22 calibur.
I have one question, "Why stop there"? take this "long thermal underwear" and give it a host of upgrades, for a wide variety of helpful and protective uses.
Doesn't have to go as far as a CRYSIS NANOSUIT, we are on the cheap/washable side. You may be scratching your heads at the cost of what I am suggesting. but once you start industrial spooling CNF, you don't have to stop...
Meaning much cheaper Nano-fiber for all."

"Some restraunts issue uniforms and keep peices of osha saftey gear on hand- but why? why not go all in one? why wear an unintelligent ballcap, hairnet, sunvisor, and driver through headset- when you could have something much "SMARTER" and protective. a one piece of smart headgear could be added to the safety under roos, and uniform I mention above."
