| "Well, I don't remember specific mention of executions, but from what it was described as doing, it would be logical to assume that they used it for that also. In some of Asimov's stories, he had a building sized supercomputer, which could "calculate anything" if you gave it sufficient input data, and asked the appropriate questions. One thing they used it for was for predicting how the outcome of voting would be, and who the last swing voter would be, so that only one person would cast an actual vote.
