| "The technoverse in "Snow Crash" is a pale imitation of the real-life Second Life imho.
On a completely unrelated note, this site needs a new catagory: Crime, Crime Solving, and Punishment. The internet has spawned plenty of new types of crime; I'm sure some writer somewhere has written about it already. One Sherlock Holmes story (the name escapes me at the moment) has a case of identity theft long before it was recognized in real life.
