Comments on Take Control Of Cars Wirelessly
You think you have complete control over your car - but for how long? (Read the complete story)

"It's a good thing that steering is still controlled by a human. I suppose the car's computer needs a Bootable Read Only Memory you can trigger by removing power and then restoring it. IIRC modern automatic transmissions are that way now."
(Dewtey 3/25/2011 7:14:28 AM)
"There are already cars that park themselves and Google's car has computerised steering"
(Peter Jacobs 3/25/2011 3:58:37 PM)
"Does anybody remember a couple of years back when OnStar actually did this very thing for law enforcement officials when a car chase had ensued? The driver got on the highway, and OnStar simply got the SUV's info, and shut it off. Anybody that still lives in denial of "government motors" will easily buy swampland in Florida."
(Joey1058 3/26/2011 1:13:02 AM)
"This is why I buy nothing newer than 1970."
(seguin 3/28/2011 11:19:31 AM)
"Ok, not really. But it reinforces my preexisting prediliction."
(seguin 3/28/2011 11:22:11 AM)
"The new days of Mad Max. We'll start selling "the equalizer" road rage device."
(duG 3/29/2011 11:20:35 AM)
