Comments on VLe Provides Non-Lethal Response
The VLe handgun provides variable-lethality in the same weapon, giving law enforcement and homeowners a non-violent alternative; like Stephenson's Loogie Gun, only less icky. (Read
the complete story)
"That actually makes me think of the LawGivers from the Judge Dredd film, which also had multiple ammo selection with vocal confimation. "RAPID FIRE"."
(LionsPhil 3/23/2005 3:54:22 PM) |
"I do not understand what kind of ammunnition it uses and how it's propellent works in sync with the bullet behind it. There are no casings so there is no possibilities for ammunition refill?"

"Whops, it wasn't on non-lethal mode...
... a potential flaw?"
( 7/25/2005 4:01:08 AM) |
"It works out the same as the lawgiver except it won't fire or blow up In the wrong hands I.E. if you do not have the ident ring on your finger it will not fire or (explode). The bullets are electricaly fired. The barrels that the bullets are in (there are four by the way)in the normal configuration act as the bullet shells so when you have fired all the bullets you simpley change the barrel units.Check out the Metal Storm web site at http://www.metalstorm.com/ "

"THIS STUFF IS AMAZING!!!"
(HOLY CRAP 5/4/2006 5:53:46 PM) |
"nothing new, it's a variation in the multi-barrel "volley guns" dating back to the early era of firearms development and up to our 19th century "civil war"."

"how much is it"
( 8/22/2006 5:05:44 PM) |
"I've heard of this before, it sounds awesome, but it's probably gonna cost about twice the price of a normal gun, at best."
