Mad-Croc Power Peppermint Energy Gum
Mad-Croc Power Peppermint Energy Gum has everything you need to feel an almost science-fictional increase in life-force.
(Mad-Croc provides wild bite of energy)
Mad-Croc gets its power from three main ingredients:
- B vitamins
Reduce the effects of stress and fatigue.
- Taurine
A naturally produced amino acid that aids in the detoxification of the body.
- Caffeine
Enough said.
Mad-Croc is, of course, produced in the USA and has nothing to do with Australia. If you lived in Australia, and grew up having to deal with actual salties, not to mention all ten of the ten most poisonous snakes in the world, you wouldn't need this gum.
I only got onto this topic because I was wondering about sfnal ways to power up. You could go to extremes, as Alfred Bester did in The Stars My Destination, giving his protagonist a re-wired body with an Internal Body Power Pack.
However, you could also go the other way. In his 1969 novel Ubik, Philip K. Dick thinks about tranquilizing gum:
"...calm yourself," Von Vogelsang ... handed Joe a merry multicolored box. "Chew one of these, Mr. Chip."
"Tranquilizing gum," Joe said, accepting the box; reflexively he opened it. "Peach-flavored tranquilizing gum."
