Man Beds And SF Sleep Lairs
The Hollandia International Sphere bed is an upscale man bed featuring a capsule structure covered with a variety of fabrics including suede and microfiber. A flat screen TV is embedded in the frame.

Optionally, you can include a full theater sound system, covered LED fluorescent canopy lights and a champagne holder. The Hollandia Sphere bed was designed by Karim Rashid.
Seeing this extravagant man bed made me think of those futuristic capsule beds from sf. For example, consider Roy Schieder's cool man bed in the 1984 movie 2010.

I can think of a fair number of sf beds with varying degrees of coolness, like the hydraulic bed from Robert Heinlein's 1961 novel Stranger in a Strange Land (the original water bed) and the Roujin Z bed from the movie Roujin Z.
