New Video Of Arducorder Mini Open Source Science Tricorder
The Arducorder Mini is the creation of Dr. Peter Jansen. The device is a pocket-sized handheld sensing tool based on the Arduino, the open-source microcontroller. The intent is to produce a tricorder in the spirit of Star Treks' tricorder

The standard Starfleet tricorder used by science officers from the original Star Trek series of the mid-1960's was used for determining various characteristics of landing areas (like life form readings).
