N.S.E.C.T. Robotic Attack Creatures are remote-controlled robot insects with secret weapons built into their carapaces. You probably think this is some sort of toy from Tyco.

Fans of science fiction writer Michael Crichton have seen these already; in his 1985 film Runaway eerily similar robots menace Tom Selleck:
