| "although this is a good idea, I don't regard it as "revolutionary" I thought of doing this before reading this article for an advanced physics project. The main obstacle to overcome is finding a material besides platinum to use in the fuel cell which is VERY expensive. And as with any open thermodynamic system there will never be 100% efficiency, the fuel cell is used only to store the excess electrical energy into a chemical form.
