Comments on Encyclopedia Googleactica - Google To Put All Human Knowledge Online
Google to put ten million books online; thank goodness for google. Of course, we're still waiting for Google Audio (TM) and Google Video (TM)... (Read the complete story)

"I went with "googlactica" rather than "googleactica" - it seemed right. On the other hand, there's "knowledgeable" - any thoughts?"
(Bill Christensen 12/15/2004 7:43:09 PM)
"I in-put a rare but common medical condition (2 million plus patients) and it could not find the disorder even when I broke it down to the simplist form. need som additional work done. "

"I have invented a clock that is based on the speed of light and pi. In two revolutions of the Earth at a given time, The Sporange is accurate for Chaos and Quantum theory projects and would-should be useful in locating retrievable info along the wave-funtion it establishes using real locations and times, if anyone knows when 7 AM is and the most accurate location of the Magnetic North Pole that day for that Time Zone. The Sporange is a electromagnetic website, a bubble around the center of the Earth, we're on which allows us to relate to The Universe in terms that are reversable and real because, its diameter is 1 second at the speed of light, 1 revolution takes the number pi and the computation is, x -times c times pi times the mathematical position of the Magnetic North Pole, for the first rotation equals 'pi' given in seconds, i. e. 3.14159 & 2-million places and still-computing, until it 'primes-out,' times the sub-atomic number, scientifically agreed upon for, the speed of light. The Sporange's second revolution happens immediately after the first line is made and has formed the circumnavigation line around the center of the Earth, and begins 2-electromagnetic lines around the center, again; one to the east or right of the 1st line and the other to the left or west of the 1st line for a 20-degree 'orange-like' section, each 10-degrees away from the first line, of the sky above the Earth, then, The Sporange for that TIME ZONE is finished for the day. The website Domain is, SPORANGEMASTER @godaddy.com This clock can be adapted to help us relate to time and space, in a way that humans haven't used before -- The Speed of Light. The website is useful, too, in allowing us to keep an eye on the migrating point known as, The North Magnetic Pole, MNP, a wave-funtion is established every 24-Time Zones of '20-degree 'sporange slices' being made of the space that The Earth goes through in our orbiting the sun. Help me, if you can, to make this website a reality, so, The Sporange can be a useful tool of men understanding where we've been and where we have to go to live in peace. Lee S. Allen, SporangeMaster"

"Launch date for The Sporange is July 7, 2007, any graphics depicting the Sporange at & A. M. on that date would be appreciated. Servers in that TIME ZONE can charge exactly, $4.99 if they accept 'ma's' numbers, then they agree to share, 50-50 with me, nearly thirty-cents a hit for the next 364 days in a row when I will provide the best location that day of where the North Magnetic Pole is located. 2-revolutions and it is gone until 7 A. M. the next day. Service should agree by e-mail before July 7, 2007 and provide a space of 360 characters in Courier font to the left and to the right, west and east of the 1st-Line of Anarchy, this is the beginning of ending war on Earth. All Blessings, Lee S. Allen, SporangeMaster."

"There has to be a reference to Asimov's Foundation series (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foundation_series) which is the first place I heard of assembling a massive encyclopedia consisting of all the galaxy's knowledge. I believe that Adams' HHGTG is an homage to (and spoof of) Asimov's Encyclopedia."
