| "I think I recall the "Piggies" gaining a third life and becoming sentient trees in the book 'Speaker For The Dead' by Orson Scott Card. I think they joined a dying "Piggy" and a seedling/sapling. I think the "Piggies" even had a language to talk to the trees/ancestors.
