Comments on Robot Nanny - The Fact, The Fiction
SF writers have been thinking about robot nannies (and other forms of automated child care) since at least WWII. This fall, Korea will have some in the home. (Read the complete story)

"I think this is wonderful. Finally we are moving right along to the future. but it is very freaky to. But it will be a nice thing when they are more and more graceful."
(Randi Hann 5/26/2006 11:00:55 AM)
"I love the idea of a robot nanny! As long as the robot is not a judgmental witch with a suspect history in the California porn industry. Where can I buy one? Or 4. I have 4 nannies to replace!!"
(Marge Ingersol 6/4/2006 12:18:27 PM)
"This robot is cool..and it rocks"
(Danejah 10/2/2006 5:52:38 AM)
"i dont think that you should make them cos what if somthing goes wrong and then the child is highly at risk? the company is to be blamed for this and is surely to be sued at lest once a month."
(shuvy 12/6/2006 10:10:21 AM)
"the machines don't have to be 100% reliable, just at least as dependable as a 12-year-old babysitter ... seems like you could predict any old crazy thing for 75 years from now, the only thing stopping moore's law from making everything magical by then is we're all gonna run out of energy and food first, oops"
