Flag Of The Solar System Created
Students and scientists at the Long Future Research Group at the Technical University of Budapest, Hungary, set themselves the task of creating a flag for the solar system. The idea behind the flag is that humanity would begin colonizing and exploring other worlds soon, and that a new flag would express the unity of mankind - whether on planets, moons, comets or space stations.

(From Flag of the Solar System)
The winning flag was created by Gyula Pozsgay. The basic concept of the flag is as follows:
"...the star on the left side of the flag is our Sun, and the circles around it symbolise the planets of our Solar System. The flag is divided into two parts according to the golden section, and the third circle touches the edge of the flag, while the shorter beam of the Sun touches the orbit of Earth...
The unity of the Solar system is symbolised by the longer beams of Sun, which run accross all the circles.
Although I'm sure that the rest of us on the planet would like to have some input, I think this flag is a very cool effort - it looks great! Personally, I think it looks better than the United Nations flag, which was flown into space during China's first manned space mission at the request of the UN's Secretary General. If there are any other groups with flag proposals, I'll post them here.
