Mi TV LUX Transparent Edition OLED TV

The Mi TV LUX Transparent Edition OLED television from Xiaomi is amazing, and difficult to capture in a video because it's, well, transparent.

(Mi TV LUX Transparent Edition OLED TV)

The Chinese brand Xiaomi joins The elite of tv brands, presenting the Mi TV LUX Transparent Edition, an ultra-thin OLED screen TV completely transparent when turned off, and where all the technology is concentrated in the round base rather than on the back. The device has the audio and video features of a top-of-the-range, custom MIUI interface, and has been presented for now in the 55" cut. Xiaomi entered the Chinese TV market seven years ago, which today dominates with over 10 million units sold per year.

People have been dreaming about transparent TVs for some time; see the screen capture below from HG Wells' prophetic 1936 film Things to Come. In the film created by Wells, technologically advanced societies of the future will make use of widescreen transparent flat panel technology (see more pictures).
