Science Fiction in the News Articles
Related to material in Lucky Starr and the Oceans of Venus
by Isaac Asimov

One of the Lucky Starr juvenile novels, this one takes place mostly on Venus. Little was known at that time, which gives the author some leeway in description. In the story, Venusian scientists are creating strains of yeast that can be processed into luxury foods for off-planet export; and at the same time, for six months there has been a growing series of incidents of bizarre behavior among the human colonists.
