"You're right; that's a very good point. I'm thinking that it might be possible to have the robotic legs automatically compensate (or try to) by shifting the center of mass of the man+weight."

"With the extra load carrying abilities, why not design a battle shield a soldier can maneuver wherever the danger is coming from and dump the body armor? Something like captain america's shield. A soldier can shield whatever part of his body he desires. Like firing from a protected region and using it for cover while shrapnel is flying."
