US Army-Branded Gaming Peripherals
The line between gaming and boot camp is getting fuzzier. The US Army is working to make sure that branded peripheral devices are available for a variety of Playstation games.

CTA Digital has joined up with the United States Army to produce a range of licensed accessories including various headsets, a console-carrying backpack, and no less than three PlayStation Move rifles. There's a Bluetooth headset for PS3 and PC, a wired model for 360, and a pair of "3D effect" headphones for all systems.
Looks like the US Army is continuing to implement the "Last Starfighter strategy". SF movie fans recall the movie The Last Starfighter, a popular 1984 sci-fi thriller, in which a video game is used to both train and find the best Starfighters - for real. Whenever a player on Earth won the game, he was abducted by Robert Preston - or rather, Centauri - to fight the real bad guys out in the galaxy.
