Budgee Robot Carries Your Bags

Budgee™ the Travelling Assistant will carry your luggage at the airport. Budgee is a robotic assistant to carry your luggage. He folds up for easy storage in the overhead bins and carries your luggage so you don’t have to!

(Budgee the robot follows you and carries your stuff)

Budgee is great for operation inside and outside. He can travel over sidewalks and streets, and is able to safely travel up and down handicap ramps.

He greets you warmly when he is turned on. Also he tells you when his battery is getting low, when he can’t find you, when he is in manual mode, when he is in follow mode and a variety of other status messages. Budgee keeps you informed by talking to you through your smart phone or tablet!

Budgee™ folds up for ease of transportation to your destination or for storage. He easily fits in the trunk of your car and weighs only 20 lbs. So he is easy to lift. In his folded state, he is 18″ x 20″ x 12″. So he is convenient to store in tight spaces.

Budgee™ can operate for up to 10 hours on his rechargeable battery. His battery recharges in 2-3 hours and additional spare batteries are available for purchase.

Budgee’s sound tracks are customizable so that he will speak in most languages.

John Brunner's many fans instantly recognize the autoporter from his 1975 novel The Shockwave Rider:

...he nabbed an autoporter and - after consulting the illuminated fee table on its flank - credded the minimum: $35 for an hour's service...

From now until his credit expired the machine would carry his bag in its soft plastic jaws and follow him as faithfully as a well-trained hound, which indeed it resembled, down to the whimper it was programmed to utter at the 55-minute mark, and the howl at 58.

At 60 it would drop the bag and slink away.
