Transparent MicroLED Screen From Samsung

Samsung has introduced what it believes is the world's first transparent microLED screen.

As far as I know, the first science fiction author to imagine a transparent TVs is HG Wells; see the screen capture below from HG Wells' prophetic 1936 film Things to Come. In the film created by Wells, technologically advanced societies of the future will make use of widescreen transparent flat panel technology (see more pictures).
