Buy A Galaxy? Maybe Start Smaller

Recently a young entrepreneur opined that he would like to perhaps buy a galaxy!

Science fiction fans might be thinking that he could start a bit smaller - maybe just one planet? as in the 1964 Cordwainer Smith story The Boy Who Bought Old Earth.
