Amazingly, Pohl has also predicted the "call list" feature of cell phones. This is yet another feature of the prescient Joymaker from The Age of the Pussyfoot.
When I finally got myself a cell phone (hey - I'm an early adopter! It's just that cell phones are leashes, too!) the feature that disconcerted me the most was the fact that it recorded the phone number of every person who calls.
