  An electronic tablet for information browsing.

An interesting fictional try at this idea, not the least because the name of the device contains the word "iPad".

Compare to the newspad from Arthur C. Clarke's 1968 novel 2001: A Space Odyssey and the calculator pad from Isaac Asimov's 1951 novel Foundation.
