| A space suit with its own means of motive power. |
| He put on one of the Blinco rocket suits. Marvellous as they are, these space suits, with rocket equipment attached, are just about as much use as a lifebelt is to a swimmer in stormy seas — and no more.
For one thing the rocket fuel cannot last for long, and once the electron trail is exhausted the space-man is adrift, without motive power. There are other drawbacks. These rocket suits are intended only as a last emergency in the navigation of space.
