Lucky Dragon was a global brand name that optimized everything it touched. He makes this brand so real in the book, I wonder if there really is one. It is a combination of a tiny storefront with one or two of everything you might need and an all-night convenience store here in the United States.

Lucky Dragon ATMs all had this same voice, a weird, uptight, strangled little castrato voice … probably kept people from standing around, [talking] with it… If you seriously tried to dick with one, drive a crowbar into the money slot, say, the thing would mist you and itself down with water and then electrify itself. |

Now here's an ATM you've got to respect. You know they are taking quick pictures of you while you use it, but that is a passive defense. Of course, you'd need to make sure that these security measures weren't activated by accident…
