"I don't have an e-mail address. As much as I admire the Internet I suffer literally agoraphobia, which in it's original sense means a fear of the marketplace. I do not want to receive three hundred e-mail messages per week from strangers…"
- William Gibson

Arachnofiber Uniforms
Remarkable attire for a pizza delivery person; but given the violence of near future America, the protection offered by ordinary uniforms was insufficient.

The last word in cool; every aspect of pizza delivery was honed to a fine art by CosaNostra pizza, the largest pizza maker in the United States. They gave their Deliverators only the finest equipment, training and uniforms - believe me, you didn't want to deliver a pizza in more than thirty minutes.

His uniform is black as activated charcoal, filtering the very light out of the air. A bullet will bounce off its arachnofiber weave like a wren hitting a patio door, an excess of perspiration wafts through it like a napalmed forest. Where his body has bony extremities, the suit has sintered armorgel; feels like gritty jello, protects like a stack of telephone books.

You should see the car they get - not some nondescript junker, or "sales manager's special" at your local car lot.
