| I enjoyed some of the singing of the concert program, which was being broadcast by the Photophonic Process, Ltd., of Great Britain, founded in 1935. Young Tom Van Swagger interrupted the concert to get a ball score of the indoor baseball game then in progress in Toronto, Canada, with a rival team from Tokio, Japan, before an estimated audience of one hundred thousand persons. |

As far as I know, the first fully-enclosed (and air-conditioned!) baseball stadium was the Houston Astrodome, built in 1965.
