Aldous Huxley (1894-1963) was a British writer best known for his novels and essays. He completed his first (unpublished) novel at seventeen; he is best known to sf readers as the writer of Brave New World, a dystopian novel published in 1932. He also wrote many fascinating works on psychology and religion, including The Doors of Perception and The Perennial Philosophy.
