Margaret Atwood

Margaret Eleanor Atwood (born 1939) is an award-winning Canadian writer of poetry, novels and literary criticism. Due to her father's interest in forest etomology, she spent much of her childhood in the backwoods of Northern Quebec. She did not complete a full year of actual school until grade eight.
