But in every age some new law seems to be invented specially to increase man's misery. The next line of action seems to be beautifully laid out for us already — that is, the next really important change. But that — and the author tells about it in this story — will probably not go through, however, until life has become somewhat more standard- ized, which, on the other hand, can't be so far off at that. "
