Fiction in the News Articles A Robot series novelette that Asimov wrote for a project timed for publication during the American Bicentennial. As usual, Asimov produced his segment, even though the arrangement fell through, and retained his rights to the story.
A robot wishes to be declared a man; after 200 years, his wish is granted.
