by Philip K. Dick

This book was written in 1964; about half of it was published that year as The Unteleported Man. Dick wrote an additional 40,000 words to complete it as a novel. Its various parts were located in the late 1970's and finally published as the full novel Dick intended.

('The Unteleported Man' by Philip K. Dick)

The story revolves around a teleportation technology to a distant planet that apparently only works one way. What really happens to the people who use it? This book has so much going on in it that I scoff at any attempt to provide a complete description. Warning: this novel contains descriptions of mind-altering human experiences as well as plot convolutions that deliberately reshape the neural ganglia of the reader.
