John Brunner:

John Brunner was born in 1934 in Oxfordshire, England; he died in 1995. He received a bachelors in modern languages from Oxford. He published his first story in 1953 in Astounding. He wrote many wonderful novels, including The Shockwave Rider and The Sheep Look Up.
