Edward Bellamy:

Edward Bellamy (1850-1898) was the son and grandson of Baptist ministers. He studied law and worked in the newspaper industry. Of his four novels, Looking Backward was the biggest seller. It inspired the Bellamy Nationalist Club, a movement that spread across the country.
