Roman Frederick Starzl (18991976) was an American author. He owned a small newspaper. He was dubbed a "master" by E. E. "Doc" Smith. Starzl's Interplanetary Flying Patrol, in The Hornets of Space, may have influenced Smith's Triplanetary Patrol, later Galactic Patrol.
