Cinematophote (Blue Optic Plate)
The first reference to a tablet-sized, handheld screen. (Read
the full article)
"The first known reference to a tv or computer i know of was in the Bible! it was referred to as a box that painted pictures. It was described like that in a vision of the future that a disciple saw, he not knowing what TV was could only understand it as described as a box that painted pictures on its own."

"I downloaded and searched two different versions of the Bible in text for "picture", "box" and "paint" - I was unable to find any reference to a box that showed pictures. There was one reference to someone who saw a vision of people standing before paintings of all manner of abominations, but they did not appear to be moving pictures.
That brings up an interesting question - who was the first person to think that drawn pictures could be made to "move" (by showing a set of static pictures in rapid succession)?"
