This Immortal by Roger Zelazny:
Science Fiction Inventions, Technology and Ideas

This is such a likable book; it is set several hundred years in the future on a ruined Earth. Aliens visit it as you would a museum; imagine a race foolish enough to despoil a planet. Hot spots (from radiation) dot the planet; human DNA moves on. Satyrs and nymphs again hold sway in rocky grottoes in Ithica. It won a Hugo for Zelazny. Originally published as ...And Call Me Conrad in Fantasy and Science Fiction in 1965.
