Farmer in the Sky by Robert Heinlein:

This Heinlein juvenile novel (written for young people) describes a world in which food on overcrowded Earth is rationed. A teenaged boy emigrates with his family to Ganymede, one of the moons of Jupiter, which is being terraformed.
