"I know it's not science fiction, and instead fantasy, but if I remember correctly, Robert De Niro harvested lightning in his flying pirate ship in the movie "Stardust." Flying through thunderstorms, they would extend wire wings which would attract lighting, then it would course through massive cabling into what seemed to be a fictional capacitor. They then sold the lightning for a profit, just as you would plan to do ;)"

"Dustin - you're right, I'd seen that movie but didn't remember. Treating 'bottled lightning' as a tradeable commodity worked very well in the film.
