"Some exciting possibilities exist here. I'm struck by the concept not of classes, professors, and students; but by a homogenized community. It kind of levels the playing field. Also interesting was the cloud that was developed when the students were asked to share their experiences on the class webpage. This obviously helps to refine curriculum for upcoming semisters.

"This is a rather exciting step forward. Full support and implementation of these devices in a college setting could be a landmark in the eventual implementation of a fully converged lifestyle. This truly is a next-door sci-fi possibility.
I'm also rather impressed with the straightforward coverage on this story from this site. Everywhere else I've read about this has been rife with accusations and misconceptions. Everyone else seems to be focusing on either the publicity, the "freeness," or the fact that it's a Christian university instead of the possible repercussions of this technology initiative."
