Comments on Taliban Looking For Right iPhone App
In which I put together a Mullah, a iPhone and a missile-launching app. (Read the complete story)

"He might just be consulting a GPS program to determine which direction to orient himself to properly face Mecca for prayer?"
(Brian 3/4/2009 10:42:47 PM)
"Can the iPhone orient itself east-west-north-south? Of course, we have no idea what the Mullah was doing, just that he has an iPhone."
(Bill Christensen 3/5/2009 6:13:58 AM)
"well , I'm muslim , there is no conflict between Islam and technology. and that "Mullah" which he also considers me as an "infidel" was probably smsing someone. we are leaders in using the technology, but too lazy to produce it ourselves. Iphone is a fail, ppl are only buying it cuz It's a US product, where Nokia phones are 1000 times better :) "

"Yeah, iPhones can orient themselves (prolly with gps) cos that's one of the apps shown on the commercials. "
