Comments on Nano Quadrotors Form Stephenson's Dog Pod Grid
If you haven't seen this video, it's a remarkable implementation of an sfnal idea. (Read the complete story)

"What range do they have and how long can they stay in flight?"
(Jason K 2/9/2012 3:24:10 AM)
"That's a really good question. I did some research, and came up with nothing; the GRASP lab website doesn't give many technical details. Given their size, though, the flight time can't be more than fifteen minutes; this figure is batted around by hobbyist readers on other sites. Also, I believe they use WiFi to communicate with each other, so that would limit their range (as far as receiving instructions is concerned)."
