Comments on Hypersonic Sound (HSS) - Loudspeaker Just For You
Hypersonic Sound (HSS) technology does for sound what lasers did for light - provide a far more focused stream of energy over a greater distance with less dispersion. (Read
the complete story)
"You missed one parallel: The street adds in Minority Report.
Great website, by the way. Thanks"

"What will prevent abuse of this technology? Just like laser pointers have become somewhat of a nuisance, I can see this technology becoming more of one."
(Ken Lynch 7/19/2005 3:36:58 AM) |
"I see Hypersonic Sound as useful in a home where the father might want to listen to a football game and his wife the opera. At the same time. It might even be multiplexed so that the same emitter scould be used for both - by switchine back and forth using phased array technology at a rapid rate. The bass could be awesome. I built and used Klipschorn- type speakers for my bass and this should be significantly better and not bother the neighbors"

"After about 6 months of setting up speakers and fine tuning with
my amp these speakers have been
invented.What a step forword
this will be Movie's will never
sound better.Cant wait! "

" I am the subject of a stalker using this technology. Nobody has taken into consideration the "virtual sound" factor. When this device is pointed at a nearby object (i.e. a window, or car door)it can be heard equally as clear from it's inanimate target as when it is directed at a person. Try explaining this problem to law officials without sounding schizophrenic. Nobody will listen. Pun intended. I need help- any suggestions?
Nothing good will come of this technology, and excuse me for sounding cynical- but can America collectively wake up now?"
(Randi Radin 2/12/2006 3:51:18 PM) |
"The segway - the self balancing scooter- was invented by heilein in a story where underground tunnel workers move about on self balancing single wheeled scooters."
(George 6/26/2006 9:50:28 PM) |
"George - you're right; I never really thought about it that way. For the benefit of other readers, you're referring to the tumblebug."
(Bill Christensen 6/27/2006 5:37:22 AM) |

"This is a great tool to harass people.
this is a great to destroy people life. Sleep deprivation.
This is a great tool for gangsters and drug dealers to have their our territory by drive people out the neighhorhood.
this is a great tool to turn the devil into people god, someone will fall for that. Voice modify.
This is a great tool for corrupted cops to destroy people life.
