Comments on True 3D Plasma Display
Researchers demonstrate a 3D display that does not depend on binocular eye tricks - and real plasma in mid-air! (Read the complete story)

"earlier technovelgy item told about military grade laser that causes plasma that causes radio waves in EMP-form. So what about radio interference from that 3D display? Can you hear radio and cell phone? ...................... ......................... "Software controls the galvanometric mirrors that aim the laser pulses" What if some other software - with a rapid enough camera - aims the laser pulses to flying mosquitoes and flies? Would that be pollution free mosquito defense system? Maybe that software would need more powerful computer for the image processing that aiming requires... .......................... What is galvanometric mirror? "

"usually, the plasma is INSIDE the tv..."

"Using a spinning bowl over the emitter array with red green and blue shading over each third would generate full colour very easily. -A"
(Andre 3/6/2006 4:50:53 AM)
"I wonder if they will be able to do surfaces without the other side "ghosting" through. I also wonder how they will do color. "
( 4/25/2006 10:35:04 AM)
"Because the plasma is creating the light we see (not the laser), it may be quite difficult to create colour images."

"I think it would be cool for nasa to build a 3d nightsky"
